A collective of educators and students engages in immersive art- and design-driven practice to reimagine higher-education and primary-school teaching and learning at, and beyond, the University of Teacher Education.

Rooted in curiosity, care and attentiveness to diverse histories and voices, the collective offers open-ended impulses that anyone can adapt, question or extend across a growing constellation of educational hubs.

Method: Feedback Canvas Peer Coaching

Overview:

A structured peer-coaching ritual using a simple canvas to sharpen “How might we…” questions and surface insights—grounded in mutual respect and inclusive dialogue.

1. Project Pitch (5 min):
In pairs, each partner presents their “How might we…” question and project concept for five minutes, outlining key assumptions and desired outcomes.

2. Canvas Setup:
On a flip-chart or large sheet, draw a frame divided into three zones:
  • Left: Open Questions
  • Right: Pain Points
  • Bottom: Valuable Insights

3. Guided Feedback (10 min):
After each pitch, listeners spend two minutes silently noting on sticky notes:
  • Open Questions that probe gaps or curiosities
  • Pain Points they perceive in the concept or approach
  • Valuable Insights; the strongest ideas or promising angles

4. Peer Debrief (5 min):
The presenter reviews the canvas with their partner, asking for clarification and reflecting on which notes resonate most. Co-interpret the feedback without judgment.

5. Shared Action Steps (5 min):
Collaboratively identify one adjustment to your “How might we…” framing or method based on the feedback. Agree on a next check-in to track progress.

Cultural & Contextual Sensitivity:
Value all lived experiences. Honour contributions, mind power dynamics, and uplift marginalized voices.
